Butterflies

Image
I am going to write about butterflies because they are interesting to learn about. Read down below to find and read some fun butterfly facts. The first stage in a butterfly's life cycle is an egg. The second stage is a caterpillar or a larva.   The third stage is a chrysalis or a pupa.   The fourth and last stage is a adult butterfly.  There are many different types of butterfly's some of them are the milkweed, monarch butterfly and the queen butterfly. Butterflies eat nectar  from flowers and they drink with their feet. Butterflies camouflage because predators are scare of the bright colors on their wings. In my opinion, monarch butterflies are my favorite butterflies because they have pretty colors. Butterflies are my favorite bugs because they are cute and cool. As you can see why I think butterflies are interesting things to learn about. I shared my favorite butterflies. Now I would like to hear yours. Also, I say do not kill or hurt animals, hu...

All About Houses

I did a fun and interesting research about houses and I plan this to be 4, 5, or six pages and that is a lot to write for a 7 year old. Some people are homeless which means they do not have a home and they are very poor. To stay safe during dangerous things such as hurricanes, tornados, earthquakes, and other things you should stay in a room without any windows that lead outside. It usually takes between 3 and 4 months to build a house. If the weather is bad it can take up to 6 months to build a house. Most houses are made of wood and steel. The first step to make a house is to find a good big and smooth place to build your house. The second step to build a house is to gather all the materials you need. The third step is to frame walls of your house. The fourth step is to plump the walls and brace the materials securely. The fifth step is to lay out the marks for setting your roof trusses. The sixth step is to set each truss in the correct location. The seventh part is to nail a ...

Legoland Trip

I went on a fun trip to Legoland CA with my mom Wendy and sister Yanna. Read down below to see what I did on my fun trip. First, I went on some rides and they were: Beetle Bounce and a Lego roller coaster. The new ride I rode was the Lego Roller Coaster. Next we went to eat lunch and I ate a hot dog meal. After that I went to the Legoland water park and I went on a pirate reef ride. At the water park I made a friend named Riley. Last I watched some shows and they were the Lego Friends and a Lego 4D movie. After I went on Beetle Bounce I played a fun game called Cobra Climb and I won a blue stuffy and I named it Marshmallow. In my opinion I like the Lego Roller Coaster better than Beetle Bounce because I had to go on Beetle bounce with my sister but I did not want to go on it. I think the food is delicious there. The price there I ok because a lot of fun things there are expensive and should be cheaper. In my opinion I like Legoland Amusement park better than Legoland wate...

Volcanoes

Image
I did a fun research about the Earth Event Volcanoes. I got the idea because I was studying volcanoes for my school science project. Volcanoes can live on land and in the water. The color of lava depends on its temperature. Lava starts out bright oranges. As it cools it changes to bright red, then to dark red and then brownish red. When a volcano erupts it sounds like a giant hammer. When a volcano erupts there is poison ash that can move as fast as a bullet train. When lava dries up it can create layers and layers to make a mountain shape. Volcanoes erupt 50 - 70 times each year. The lava from a volcano is dangerous because it can kill or hurt people. A volcano can do a lot of damage to plants, animals, and other things. The name volcano comes from the Roman name Vulcan the Roman God of fire. There are roughly 1,500 volcanoes that erupted on land within the last 10,000 years. In my opinion Volcanoes are cool, dangerous and the best earth event. My wish is that no volcanoes happe...
