My 2019 Christmas Eve and Christmas Day

Christmas this year has just passed! I was super excited to open presents and to spend lots of time with my family. Christmas Eve this year was on a Tuesday and Christmas was on Wednesday. On Christmas Eve I went to my dad’s store in Riverside. I made some very pretty slimes there and had enchiladas for lunch. When my dad and I got back we ate stone fire grill for dinner. My whole family then watched TV and opened some presents. I got to spend lots of time with my family. On Christmas day I was really excited. I saw many presents under the tree and I saw that Santa had ate the 2 cookies, an Oreo dip cookie, took the apple for his reindeer, and drank the glass of milk. After my family was awake my sister and I opened the presents from Santa and our parents. After that, we went to my dad’s store again to help out. When we got back home I watched the movie Aladdin. We all ate dinner together and then watched some more TV. I got many cool presents form Christmas. My mom got

First half of my 4th grade school year

My school just got on winter break and it has been very fun so far. In school we have done some very fun activities. I am in Mrs. Silva and Mr. Mangold’s 4 th grade class. Mrs. Silva is my homeroom and Mr. Mangold is my 2 nd period teacher. Mrs. Silva teaches social studies and writing while Mr. Mangold teaches math and science. We have done some fun activities during the first half of the school year. We have done Red Ribbon week, which is a week that we learned the harm of drugs and why not to take them. During that week, we could wear PJ’s, crazy hair, wore red, and more. The classes could also participate in a poster contest where each class makes a poster about saying no to drugs and something that relates to the theme. Our class also had a little celebration before winter break. The celebration was on Wednesday, 12/18/19. We had donuts and made Christmas cards, scratch art ornaments, and ornaments with a picture of our faces on them. Some of our room moms came to cele

Yanna’s birthday and trip to Knott’s Berry Farm

My sister Yanna turned five on 12-8-19 and my family went to Knott’s Berry Farm to celebrate. It was a lot of fun there and Yanna also had a great birthday. I am going to tell you what we did on this very fun day. When we got there we rode some rides such as Sierra Sidewinder, the airplanes, and the snoopy mailbox drop. After that we went on the ferris wheel and I went on silver Bullet 3 times in a row. After that we went to go eat lunch and I had Mac and cheese but then it started raining so we went to the train ride because it was very close by. We then watched how fast Excelrator and supreme scream went. After that we went on some more rides. They had a special event there and it was very fun. We got to meet Santa Claus, we wrote our letters to Santa, and ate cookies and hot Chocolate. Because it was my sister’s birthday after knott’s we went to buy a cake and pick up food. For dinner we had hot pot and a strawberry cake for dessert. I got my sister a squishy and m

Ice-skating Competition

On Sunday, November 24, 2019, I had my first solo ice skating competition! I had a lot of fun and even got a trophy! The competition took place at Lakewood Ice Rink. It is a really big rink with three sheets of ice. I completed free skate 6 with the song Feel It Still by Portugal the Man. I competed against four people and got 5 th place (last place). I got a turkey trophy and a tag that has my name on it. It was the 4 th Annual Compete USA Competition. The jumps I had are two axels with one and a half revolution jumps. One flip jump with a one revolution toe jump, and two waltz jump – half loop salchow. I also had a step sequence with kicks, toe toe toe’s, turns, spread eagles, and stag jumps. I met all the requirements which are five jumps, two spins, and a step sequence for my level. I think I did really well on my competition. Even though I did not win 1 st place, my mom was proud of me and bought me How to Dork Your Dairy book. I was a little nervous at first, but

My amazing 2019 Thanksgiving

This year’s Thanksgiving was lot of run and very exciting. I am going to tell you all about it. The day before, I made some handprint turkeys for my family. I used finger paint, markers, and cardstock. I also made cute pop out cards that look really cool with 3 tiers. I also watched the Macy’s Parade with my family. I really liked the Macy’s Parade and I think the floats are amazing. We also got our last minute shopping done. I helped my mom peeled and mashed potatoes. We went to our family friend’s house for Thanksgiving dinner. We had turkey, mashed potatoes, cauliflower, soup, rice and other dishes. We also watched Odd Squad and had pumpkin cheesecake. I am thankful for having a house, having a life, having food, my family and also for being able to ice skate. In my opinion, this year’s Thanksgiving was amazing and lots of fun. My only wish is that I wish it was not raining on Thanksgiving Day.
