I love Slime

Image
During summer 2018 I took a slime class but now I want to tell you something behind the scenes. I will also tell you how to make slime. Do you want to learn behind the scenes of slime with me? To make slime you will need glue, baking soda, contact lens solution, and water. If you use a different activator you do not need to add the baking soda. If you want, you can add lotion, color, glitter, sequences, foam balls or other things. First, you pour some glue in, next, you can put location, color glitter, etc. and mix them. After that, you add some water, and then you put in baking soda and mix them up again. Last, you add contact lens solution. After you put in your activator, you will mix them and add more until it is not sticky. I like slime because it is fun to play with, and it is also a stress reliever if you put it into a balloon. I also like slime because you can have fun, but also learn something from making it. According to an article, glue has long flexible mole

The Best Grandparent’s Day

On March 14 my family friend came to my school for grandparent’s day lunch. We had an amazing time together. His name is Carl and my mom and dad have known him before I was born. He got me a sandwich, soup, and chips for lunch, and a cake pop for dessert. He bought the lunch from Conner Bakery Café.   We talked about how I am doing at school and what I am learning. Like I said earlier, he is my family friend, but he is not my real grandpa. My real grandparents are all the way in China right now. My mom said she met him on a walk a long time ago before I was born. We have known him for a long time. I took a picture with Carl at the photo booth. The props I used were a St. Patrick’s Day hat, a green feather boa, and a necklace. Since Carl could not find a table, we sat with a boy named Zack and his grandparents. I know Zach from the YMCA after school care. Carl coming to Grandparent’s Day means a lot to me because this is one of the only times I can have someone come to my school f

To help Charlotte makes words on her web such as Radiant and amazing. Once the County fair is here Mr. Zuckerman the barn owner and the helpers at the farm are invited to the fair for Wilbur to be in a pig contest. Wilbur did not win first prize but he did get a medal and Mr. Zuckerman got 25 dollars. At the end of the play Charlotte has an egg sack and inside there is 514 baby spiders inside. Lastly Charlotte sadly dies. The Charlotte Web play was at La Mirada theater for performing arts. The second play was An Arbor Day celebration. It was about two bad guys and some spider man dressed as different types, such as spider girl and

Reflections Art Competition

In 2018 I joined a drawing completion and the theme was heroes around me. This is the third time I was in it and I think it is the best picture I drew for the competition. My picture was about my mom. The picture was organized like a comic page. The first box was about my mom throwing food at me. The second square was about my mom flying me to drawing class. The third section was my mom flying me to elementary school. The fourth box was my mom flying me to ice skating class. The last section was my mom tucking me into bed. The title of my drawing is My Super Mom.   I came up with the idea because I wanted to draw someone who helps me do things, like drawing. The idea of my drawing was to draw something to show what my mom does for me. I got three awards for this drawing this year. I got first place at my school, and first place at the Bellflower Unified School District and 3 rd place in the 33 rd school district. My mom said in the 33 rd school district I completed with 5,

My Field Trip to Knott's Berry farm

On Friday March 1 st 2019 I went on a field trip to knots berry farm. Let me tell you all about my amazing and fun trip. On my trip I went with my class, teacher, my mom, and other volunteers. The first thing we did was listening to a story about Native Americans and made a story bracelet. After that we visited a museum. We saw rocks with different patterns, shapes and colors; we saw swords and guns. We watched 2 cool shows, one of them was a tribe hoop dance and the other one was about magic and a tricking bird. The only ride we got to go on was the log ride but I did not get a single drop of water on me. My class went there to have fun but to also learn some facts about Native Americans. Here are some of the facts I learned. Native Americans were good artists who painted and made to totem poles. I also learned that Native Americans painted from top to bottom on the totem poles. Before the field trip, we were assigned a partner and my partner was my mom. For lunch, my mom a
