My Amazing Field Trip Plays
On March 12 2019 my class and I went on 2 field trip. The
trips I went to were both plays and were amazing.
The first play we went to was a live play of a book called
Charlotte’s Web. The Charlotte’s Web play was about a pig named Wilbur and a spider
name Charlotte. When Wilbur figures out he will be killed he was scared but
Charlotte will save him. To help Charlotte makes words on her web such as
Radiant and amazing. Once the County fair is here Mr. Zuckerman the barn owner
and the helpers at the farm are invited to the fair for Wilbur to be in a pig
contest. Wilbur did not win first prize but he did get a medal and Mr. Zuckerman
got 25 dollars. At the end of the play Charlotte has an egg sack and inside
there is 514 baby spiders inside. Lastly Charlotte sadly dies. The Charlotte
Web play was at La Mirada theater for performing arts.
The second play was An Arbor Day celebration. It was about
two bad guys and some spider man dressed as different types, such as spider
girl and a spider pig saving the world. Because the bad guys are destroying all
trees, but there was also a tree character. The tree character told the bad
guys the story of Arbor Day. Long time ago, people cut down all trees, but then
a smart person said without trees, there would be no new houses and new buildings
because trees provide woods for people to use for buildings. The Arbor Day play
was at Mayfair Park.
Both plays were amazing because they worked so hard to
remember all their lines and moves. I like both plays because we all learned
something from each play. In La Mirada theater, I learned to always kind to
others. From Arbor Day celebration, I learned to not cut down trees.
We went to La Mirada in the morning and the Mayfair Park in
the afternoon. I wish the Mayfair Park play would be indoors because it was
really hot during the play. These field trips were fun and educational. Tell me
if you ever been on a fun and educational trip, and what it was about.
I'm glad you enjoyed both field trips! What differences did you notice between the Charlotte's Web play and the Charlotte's Web novel we read in class?
