My Juvenile Moves In The Field Test

Recently, I took my Juvenile Moves in the Field test (MIF) which was a really fun experience besides the fact that I have tested many times before. I was a little nervous and unsure if I would pass or not, but it all worked out okay. For this test, I had to drive to the Toyota Sports Center, which is the LA Kings rink. The day before my test, I visited the rink for a session to get used to the layout of the rink. Though there were some major differences, I figured it out in the end got the chance to practice my moves. My test session was pretty early in the morning, at 7:50, but I had to be there around 6-6:30. After doing some off-ice warmups, my friends and I put our skates on and got ready for the on ice warmup.  I was first testing after the warmup, and I just tried skating my best, and remember what my coach had told me to improve. Overall, I felt okay, not super confident but not as if I had completely flunked it. After watching my friends test and calming down a little, I got m

My Best Friend's 12 Birthday

Recently, it was one of my best friend, Ivy's birthday and she turned 12! She had an awesome beach party and spent her real birthday at summer camp, just like me. She has been my friend for so many years, and I look forward to continue doing that. Her birthday was at Seal Beach, and she invited many of her friends who are also my friends. All her cousins and family also came, so it was a pretty big party. When I first got there, I was nervous, since some of the people she invited were people who I have had trouble with in the past, but in the end I got along with them and had a lot of fun. I mainly stayed with my friends Sofia and Rylee for the first part, and we went boogie boarding which was really fun. Once it was lunch, we had pizza, fried chicken, and Hawaiian fruit. We then all went back into the ocean and this time the 3 of us stayed with everyone else, and we went boogie boarding as a large group. I went under the waves a few times, yet it sucked when I did. I felt like I

My 2nd Trip To Universal Studios

Recently, I went with my summer camp on a field trip to the one and only Universal Studios Hollywood. It was really fun, and all the rides were definitely worth the wait. As I went the day right after my birthday, it was even more fun for me as it was a good way to celebrate my birthday with my friends at camp. We arrived around the opening time, and headed straight for the Harry Potter world and ride. Since I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have not been to Universal in years, it was really cool seeing the amazing books come to life. I remember everything feeling so realistic, like I really was going to Hogwarts. Since we got there so early, we had a walk-in line for the Harry Potter ride. Hogwarts looked so cool and detailed, and everything you see inside of the line is really awesome as well. As for the ride, I loved the aspect of flying on a broom and seeing all the creatures and things that were in Hogwarts. We then went to the famous Studio Tour, which is pretty similar to what I

My 12th Birthday (!!!!!)

Recently, it was my birthday (yayy) and I turned 12!! I had an awesome party, and went to summer camp on my birthday, it was honestly really really fun and memorable. Even though I am sad to leave being 11, I am excited to see what the future holds for me and how middle school will start. I had my 12th birthday party this year at Cal Bowl in Lakewood with a bunch of my school friends. It was nice seeing them since I hadn't seen them all summer, and I most likely won't be seeing some of them again, sadly. Some of my friends included Rylee, Ivy, Sofia G, Amelice, Ella, and Klarissa. My mom's coworkers also came since my mom would be pretty bored just watching us. Instead of regular old bowling, we did cosmic bowling, where it was dark and we had glow things and neon lights. It looked really cool and was definitely fulfilled my expectations.  After we bowled and ate pizza and chicken wings for lunch, we did cake and this year I got the same as last year, a blueberry yogurt ca
