My 2nd Trip To Universal Studios

Recently, I went with my summer camp on a field trip to the one and only Universal Studios Hollywood. It was really fun, and all the rides were definitely worth the wait. As I went the day right after my birthday, it was even more fun for me as it was a good way to celebrate my birthday with my friends at camp.

We arrived around the opening time, and headed straight for the Harry Potter world and ride. Since I am a huge Harry Potter fan and have not been to Universal in years, it was really cool seeing the amazing books come to life. I remember everything feeling so realistic, like I really was going to Hogwarts. Since we got there so early, we had a walk-in line for the Harry Potter ride. Hogwarts looked so cool and detailed, and everything you see inside of the line is really awesome as well. As for the ride, I loved the aspect of flying on a broom and seeing all the creatures and things that were in Hogwarts.

We then went to the famous Studio Tour, which is pretty similar to what I remember, with few new "worlds" and stages. I loved the subway scene where all the water and fire comes out, since it actually feels really realistic.

After that, we headed to the mummy ride and the Jurassic Park water ride. The mummy was really fun now that I can ride scarier roller coasters, and my favorite part would have to be when you first accelerate really fast. The little magnet bugs that craw on your feet are also a cool added thing. The Jurassic Park ride was a solid ride. The build up was really exciting, and of course the drop was amazing. I got a little wet, but my friends got soaked which I thought was funny.

After we had lunch, we went to the Transformers ride, where things got a little wild. We waited in line for about 30-45 minutes and were RIGHT about to get on, when it closed down. We waited for a good 20 minutes, in hoping that we could ride it but it didn't work. However, we did get fast passes which we used for the Simpsons ride. I love the almost floating feel and the water and scent effects they added really helped make it more enjoyable.

We then went back over to the Harry Potter world where I had my first ever cup of butterbeer! It tasted a little more sweet than I thought it would be, but it was still really buttery and cozy feeling.

Overall, today was an extremely fun day, with lots of fun rides, sun, and waiting! But it really was an awesome day, and I will always remember it. My friends there made it even more exciting and the only thing that I could want is to get on that Transformers ride and buy some more Harry Potter items.
