Rewritten version of Cinderella

Once upon a time, in a faraway kingdom where nobody but the royal had lived. Well besides one daughter dirty as a old rag. Her name was Cinderella and she was the hated person in the town. “Cinderella, Cinderella!” Her stepmother called her oddly being joyful. “I made a special cake for you!” She called. “Um, why would you make that for me?” Cinderella asked. “Because ummm I wanted to treat you after all your work for us!” She said smirking. “Um ok thanks I appreciate it.” She said. Now it is finally time to put this ugly brat to sleep once and for all! She thought to herself applauding her hands quietly. “What's happening to me!” Cinderella cried as she started to feel dizzy and uncautious. “Goodbye Cinderella!” She cried as she started to laugh, evilly. “Grace, Milly! I got rid of Cinderella!!!” She yelled as she smiled at Cinderella who was now on the floor not moving  muscle. “Yay!! Finally all she did was mess up my room!” Grace called. “Thanks mom!!” Said Milly. “I should h

My trip to Arizona

From 7-11-21 through 7-17-21, I went on an AMAZING vacation to Arizona. My family and I had so much fun exploring canyons, lakes, and more. We did a lot of walking and also relaxing of course. We also had a few fun stops on the way which made it more fun and exciting.  Since it takes about 8ish hours to drive to our city, (Page, Arizona), We stopped by Las Vegas and stayed in one of the hotels for one night. We stayed in a Hilton hotel which was more than 30 floors high. We just stayed there for a night and went back on the road to head to Arizona. We also drove into Utah on the way which was interesting because all the time zone stuff was confusing. Utah was one of the hottest places I have ever been in and I don't know how people there can handle that.  When we arrived in Page, we settled into our hotel and went to visit the famous Horseshoe Bend. It had an amazing view and actually was shaped like a horseshoe. We didn't do much that night after that since we were pretty exc

My 2021 4th of July

My 4th of July this year was one that didn't really stand out to me since it was similar to last years. I still had a lot of fun today putting out fireworks and seeing all the amazing colors and pops. This year, I put out fireworks with my friend, Chloe. We both bought packs of fireworks and the "show" lasted about 30 mins. We had a lot of fun playing with the sparklers and pop-its. Some of the fun things we did were:  Walk around the block to see fireworks Visit local block-parties Watch our own fireworks in action Have our ears not explode Overall, pretty similar things to last year, but more loud and colorful. I defiantly saw more big fireworks that shoot up in the sky but those hurt my ears as well. The main thing that made me happy was seeing the sky turn all different colors and to me it represented the world.  This year was defiantly a little disappointing but it was still a 4th of July that I will remember since we did a lot of stuff that was crazy such as throw

My Accomplishments During the 2020-2021 School Year

The 2020-2021 school year has been something that I NEVER thought I would have to experience. Everything was just so different from distance learning to using google classroom. Besides all the bad things that happened this year I also had some good things which would help me for 6th grade. For example, my writing skills have improved a lot since 4th grade. I now can write longer, more detailed essays without dying. In math, I learned many more things about fractions, decimals, and shapes. I also learned the order of operations which is something I wanted to learn since 2nd grade. I also learned about molecules, emulsifiers, and how animals and plants grow. Another thing I am proud of is getting Student of the Month for February. I was excited to earn this because I never thought I would do anything because of Distance Learning. Lastly, I learned character traits, figurative language, main idea, and the RACE strategy in language arts. Oh there's also 1 more thing, I ACTUALLY SURVIVE
