My second Trimester in school has been very enjoyable time learning and exploring cool things. I was very excited to learn new things in each subject. Do you want to know what I did in Mr. Mangold’s class? Mr. Mangold teaches us math, science, and health. He teaches us 2 nd period and we have a longer period in his class so we do lots of math and sometimes science. He also taught us a little bit of health. In math we are learning fractions. We also started book 2 for our math books. We are learning equivalent fractions using a tape diagram. We do multiplication as an easier way to find equivalent fractions. We are learned that when we add, subtract, multiply, and divided fractions we only do it the numerators or the top numbers.   We also do Zearn.org it is a math website and it teaches us about something and then there is a tower of power where we have to answer questions that relate to what they taught us. My second trimester has been very fun and I got pretty good grades on my report card. I also had a very fun time learning fun things and playing fun games with my friends. I still go to Stephen Foster Elementary School and I am in 4 th grade.   My teachers are still Mrs. Silva that teaches the first period including language arts, Social Studies, and writing. Mr. Mangold teaches second period including Math, Science, and health. Mrs. Silva is a good teacher and she explains things very well. Mr. Mangold is also a good teacher and he explains well because he talks a lot. My partner was Ella in first period and Michael in second period. In Mrs. Silva’s class we take most tests there. We read a story every week and we take a spelling, vocabulary, and reading test. At the beginning of the week our teacher gives us a weekly concept that has our spelling and vocabulary words on it. The spelling test is just a normal spelling test where the teacher reads the words and w

Over the years my family has changed with some ups and downs. I have had many fun times with my entire family, so I am going to tell you about my amazing family. There are 4 people in my family including me. They are my mom, my dad, my sister Yanna, and me. My Mom My mom’s name is Wendy and she is amazing. She is very funny and makes me laugh very easily by doing funny things.   My mom is very nice and works very hard.   She is a Civil Engineer and she takes care of my sister and me. She likes to have a clean house and car so she sometimes cleans the house and pulls the weeds outside. Also she is the one who picks my sister and me up from school! My mom cooks her very tasty food for the whole family but her best foods are dumplings, wantons, and noodles.   She also makes very good deserts like cupcakes and brownies. This year I entered a pretty piece of artwork into the Reflections program. I got a good score and I tried my hardest and my hard work paid off. (I am not trying to brag) The theme for reflections from 2019-2020 is look within. Things like looking within a bottle are looking through a window could count. I titled my picture “My Big Heart”. In my picture I drew me holding a heart and around me there was 3 bigger hearts. In those hearts there are kind deeds that I have done before. I think it relates to the theme because I am looking within my heart. The section of me holding a heart is the best part in my opinion. It is a really pretty picture of me with a tie-dye shirt. The heart is red with chalk around it so it is like it shines.   My eyes were closed and it looked like I was happy and relaxed.   The first heart had me helping a boy with his multiplication homework. I am teaching him how to do it so he will understand it. Behind us are a bookshelf and a window. But

Lately I have been really into movies. I posted a part 1 of my favorite movies. Here are my favorite movies part 2. My favorite movies that I am going to tell you in this post are Toy Story 4, Angry Birds 2, and Home Alone. Toy Story 4 The 2019 movie Toy Story 4 won the Oscar award for best Animation. It is a really good movie and I think it is better than all the other Toy Stories. It is about Bonnie going to her kindergarten orientation and her family decides to go on a family trip. Bonnie made forky at her orientation and took him on her trip.   Bonnie loses forky a couple times during her trip because forky keeps saying “I am trash” and her wants to go in a trashcan.   Later they go into an antique shop and forgets her backpack there but forky is inside. Also that is when woody finds bo- peep, long lost friend. They then have adventures together and woody stays with bo for the rest of his life.
