I studied fun facts about farm animals. I got the idea because I read a book about them. Let me tell you all the fun facts I learned about farm animals. Now I am going to tell you facts about farm animals. Here are some facts about horses. 1. Horses have 205 bones in there skeleton. 2. Horses are plant eaters. 3. Horses have bigger eyes than any other mammal that lives on land. 4. Horses gallop at around 44 kph (27 mph). 5. There are about 20 million horses in March 1915 in the United States. Here are some facts about ducks. 1. All types of ducks are in the bird family. 2. There are species of ducks found on every continent except Antarctica. 3. A baby duck is called a duckling. 4. A group of ducks can be called a raft, team or paddling. 5. All ducks have water proof feathers. Here are some facts about cows. 1. Cows make milk for us. 2. Cows are also known as cattle. 3. Cows are herbivores. 4. A male is called a bull. 5. A baby cow is called a calf. Here are some fa

Volcanoes

I did a fun research about the Earth Event Volcanoes. I got the idea because I was studying volcanoes for my school science project. Volcanoes can live on land and in the water. The color of lava depends on its temperature. Lava starts out bright oranges. As it cools it changes to bright red, then to dark red and then brownish red. When a volcano erupts it sounds like a giant hammer. When a volcano erupts there is poison ash that can move as fast as a bullet train. When lava dries up it can create layers and layers to make a mountain shape. Volcanoes erupt 50 - 70 times each year. The lava from a volcano is dangerous because it can kill or hurt people. A volcano can do a lot of damage to plants, animals, and other things. The name volcano comes from the Roman name Vulcan the Roman God of fire. There are roughly 1,500 volcanoes that erupted on land within the last 10,000 years. In my opinion Volcanoes are cool, dangerous and the best earth event. My wish is that no volcanoes happe

All About Oceans !

Image
When I explore the world of Oceans I feel like a scientist. Let me tell you all about Oceans! The ocean is blue because of the way it absorbs sunlight. The ocean water is salty because of the rocks that come from land. There are tons of animals that live in the ocean water such as fish, octopus, shrimp, squid, lobster, crab, sea lion, seals, start fish, dolphin, albatross, stingray, sea cucumber, clam, walrus, wales, sharks, and turtles. There are some plants that live in oceans such as sea grass, plankton, kelp forests. Most oceans are 36,200 feet. The ocean is 139.7 million square mile. The are four oceans in the whole world and they are Pacific, Indian, Arctic, and Atlantic oceans. The biggest ocean is the Pacific Ocean and the small ocean is the Arctic Ocean. There are five parts of a ocean and they are the Epipelagic zone, Mesopelagic zone, bathypelagic zone, abyssopelagic zone, and hadalplagic zone. A little of people little in the ocean but it is bad because it might kil

Tornado

I did a very interesting and fun research about Tornadoes. These facts are very interesting and I would like to share all these facts with you. The country that had the most tornadoes is the United Kingdom. Most tornadoes happen for 10 minutes. During that then minutes tornadoes can destroy many things such as houses, boats, people, cars, trees, and other things.  When a tornado happens when you are in a house you should have a emergency kit and you should stay away from windows. Tornadoes are gray and a funnel shape. A tornado looks like a large spinning twirling funnel.  This is how a tornado can happen: 1. Before a tornado happens, it begins with a thunderstorm. 2. Precipitation should counter the updraft, but when winds blow precipitation out of rising air, the updraft strengthens, beneath the storm, winds of different speeds form horizontal tubes of orating air.   3. When those tubes are ingested into the updraft, they become vertical and the storm acquires rotati
