I went to California Adventure and we went there for fun. I got there by taking a school bus. I went with my summer camp and my summer camp’s name is Lakewood Day Camp. We also  went in groups and my counselor’s name is Carly. At California Adventure I went on rides mostly. My favorite ride was the Race Cars because it was a race we won also because it was really fast and a lot of fun. I really like my field trip to California Adventure because all the rides I went on were very fun. I went to the park to watch a movie and the movie was called Trolls and the park is called Monte Verde Park. We watched the movie for fun. The movie was about Trolls that live under ground and when they grew a little bigger they had a dance party and in the middle of the dance party the bad guys came and trapped some of the Trolls in a cage and the bad guys were about to eat them but Poppy said you don’t need to eat the Trolls. On Monday I went to the Park to watch a softball game and we went to watch it for fun. I went with my class and other graders up to 4 th grade. The teams were the Angels verse the Doggers  and the people who were playing are the 6 th graders verse the adults. I think the adults are going to win but this game is only for fun. I really enjoyed the softball game because the game was a tie and the grownups hit the ball over the giant fence. On Tuesday I made a Father’s Day T-shirt. I made it for my Daddy. I made it for Father’s day. It took 3 days and 29 steps to make it. I made it by making the T-shirt out of blue green paper and I made a card and decorate the front and back of it. I also made a tie and when you flip the front tie, it says My Dad and then a lot of questions like my Dad ‘s job, my favorite thing to do with my Dad, my Dad’s superpower. On Wednesday, 6/7/17, I learned about Solar System. There are nine planets but Pluto is not an existed as a planet anymore. The order of the planet is Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Also every planet has its own color and size. For example, Earth’s color is green and blue and the size of Earth is Medium. Also all the plants are 3D shapes called a Sphere. The Sun is the center of the Solar System and it has a lot of heat that is why it is hot almost every day. Next is Mercury. Mercury is the smallest planet now. It is gray and it is very rocky. Next is Venus. Venus is Yellow and Orange and it is about the same size as Earth. Next is Earth. Earth is the only planet that has people, water and food. I did a tree project with my teammates and Mrs. Silva and my teammates are Katie, Johnathan, Dylan, Aiden and me. I learned this from a book called “The Giving Tree”.  I prepared this by drawing all the body parts of a tree and labeling them. The body part of a tree has leaves, brunches; some have fruits, the falling leaves, the roots and the trunk. All the body parts do something different. The leaves get sunlight from the sun. The trunk and the brunches hold up the tree and every tree has to have a trunk and brunches. Some trees have fruits and some do not have fruits. Every leaf has to fall off a tree. The roots suck up water and nutrients from the soil and the roots are the most important part of a tree. I did a presentation of the tree and my Dad really liked it. First I drew all the body parts of a tree. Next I labeled every body part of a tree and explained it. Last I explained it to everyone in my family and they said they really liked it.
