Qualities Of A Good Teacher

Teachers are everywhere, but good ones? It’s hard to find a good teacher with good qualities. For example, a helpful teacher. Helpful teachers focus on helping YOU achieve more. They also make sure you understand what they are teaching. In addition to helpful teachers, kind teachers are teachers to root for. They encourage you and make sure you always do your best. Best of all- they support you, they support you and your goals. Most importantly, a slightly strict teacher. They are the best kind to have because they aren’t to kind but not too harsh. They will push you outside of your boundaries to help you learn as much as you can. They usually have many rules, but they are all there to help you learn even more. Even if you don’t have the BEST teacher, they all do their job- make sure you learn as much as you can.

Sequence Of Events (Packing For A Camping Trip)

Nature, tents, and wildlife. My friend invited me to go going camping! I better start packing and getting ready! First, I need to pack the necessities for camping such as clothes, jackets, snacks, and a ton of water. If needed, I would bring a tent, and or a sleeping bag. Next, I would pack some other fun things to do (if we ever get bored) like board games, books, and paper. Then, I would get a lot of rest the night before to prepare for the long drive the next day. (I can NEVER sleep on a bumpy ride so it's better to get all the snoozes out the night before!) Finally, it’s time to get outta the house and have fun! It’s time for the long drive before we can finally have fun (oh oh oh I just hope the drive isn’t too long!)

Sequence Of Events (Adopting a dog)

It’s finally the day! You get to adopt a dog (congrats!). Well, what's needed to make sure it has a good home? Well...first, make sure you have all the basic things needed to care for a dog. This includes enough space, enough time, etc. Make sure you are responsible and will treat your new friend right. Then, it’s time to find that pup! Make sure that the one you choose is right for you and won’t be too big for your liking. Question the people who work there and they will surely help you along your journey. Lastly, after you have picked out your furry friend, make sure to get it spayed, neutered, microchipped, or whatever is needed to keep it safe and prevent it from getting hurt. After a while, if your dog is doing well, it means you’ve done everything possible to make sure it stays safe and healthy. Good job!

Neolithic, Paleolithic, and Agriculture Revolution Time Period

Cave paintings?  Tiny adult hands?  Ladders to get into houses?  This was the time of the Paleolithic and Neolithic Age.  The gradual shift from the Paleolithic Age of hunter-gatherers to the Neolithic Age of farmers is one of the most important advances in human development also known as the agricultural revolution. Prehistory dates back to the Paleolithic Age which started around 2 million years ago and ended around 8,000 B.C.E.   People living in the Paleolithic time period were nomads and usually lived in groups ranging from 20 people to 60 people.  They usually hunted animals such as bison and bulls because back then it was needed for survival.  Along with hunting, Paleolithic people gathered berries and nuts again, for their survival.  Paleolithic people also made the first stone tools which were used for hunting and fishing, but sometimes they even used their bare hands for things like hunting or defending themselves. As change occur...

Harry Potter Book 1 Summary and Review Part 1

For the past few months, I have been caught up in the book series "Harry Potter." Since it took me FOREVER to finish book 1, I am still only on book 4. I still thought it would be good to summarize the other 3 books before I forget their story.  Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone or the Philosopher's Stone is the first book of the Harry Potter series and is written by the one and only J.K. Rowling.  The first few chapters were a little history of Harry's past life since Voldemort (Also known as you-know-how and he-who-must-not-be-named) tried killing Harry but ends up killing Harry's parents Lily and James Potter. Since Harry defeated at that time the most powerful dark wizard, his powers got "taken away" and Harry was left with nothing but a scar on his forehead shaped like a lightning bolt.  Harry then gets by Hagrid, the Hogwarts gamekeeper. He delivers Harry on a flying motorbike to Dumbledore, Headmaster at Hogwarts. Dumbledore then places Ha...

Feeling Poem

Stress Smells like my burnt dinner still baking in the oven while I am distracted. Tastes like expired milk I accidently added into a promised smoothie for my friend who will be over any minute. Sounds like my sister raging after loosing her game when we are home alone. Feels like me trying to remember all the answers and formulas 10 minutes before a test. Feels like all the nerves and jitters I have the minute before getting a shot. Feels like me having so many important things to remember along with all the circulating ideas going through my mind. My First Day of 6th Grade

Recently, my school year has started, which also means that summer is over. I'm not sure how to feel since I have always loved school but at the same time, my 2021 summer has been so fun it's hard to think that it's already over. Besides all the negative things, I had a good first day of school and am looking forward to the new school year. For my 6th grade school year, I am still going to the same elementary school (Stephen Foster Elementary) as before. It will be my last year there since next year I will be in middle school.  My homeroom teacher this year is Mrs. Greenwood who is really nice if you get on her good side. My friends and I all are which is a good thing since we have all seen her yell at other students. My 2 other teachers are Mrs. Bomgaars (Who was my 5th grade teacher) and Mrs. Frizzelle. All of my teachers this year are some of the most experienced teachers at my school. They all have different but high expectations which can get annoying since they always...
