Life Update

With it now being 2026, I decided it would be a good idea to take a break and update my life status. My life has been pretty crazy ever since school has started and is still a lot to take in.

I am now a sophomore in high school and am pretty comfortable with things in high school. I am currently taking AP world history, chemistry honors, English 2 honors, French 2 honors, and algebra 2/trig. I am also apart of a few clubs at my school, but currently do not do much with them outside of school. However, that is something I would like to commit to.

Recently, I dislocated my knee while training on the ice. Since this is my second injury in a short period of time, I have decided to calm my skating down a bit. Although this is one of the last things that I want to do, I want to make sure to take care of myself first. Prior to my injury, I was training for my upcoming competition season and was planning to move up levels. I also have been working on my double axel and have made progress to landing it.

During my sophomore year so far, one of the biggest challenges for me has been managing my time and  balancing school, sports, and a social life. One of my biggest flaws is my procrastination and for always leaving things for the last minute. This is something that I have been trying to fix and have made very slow progress on. Also, I have been training mainly in the early morning before school so it is important for me to go to bed at a reasonable time in order to make sure I am well rested and prevent injuries. Before my knee injury, this sometimes meant having to sacrifice my homework and leave it to do in the morning after practice, which is something I am not proud of. However, with everything going on I am still able to maintain a 4.0 unweighted GPA and 4.20 weighted GPA. I am proud of myself for this but need to change multiple of my habits.
