BTS Split up

Recently, the popular boy band, BTS split up. My friend, being a huge BTS fan annoyed me about it for days, which made me look into it a little more. They have a very common parting, yet it upset many people.

Why they split up

The reason BTS split up is because they wanted to focus more on their solo works and achievements. It has happened a lot, take one direction for example. However, it is understandable since each personal member might not be getting enough roles to please. Even if BTS never gets back together again, each member will always be remembered as part of it.

Some background information of BTS before the split up

BTS, which stands for Bangtan Boys, formed their band in 2010. Throughout the years, they formed a group of 7 members. Jung Kook doing the main vocals, Jimin doing the lead vocals, V and Jin doing vocals, Suga doing the main rap, and J-Hope and RM doing rap. All in all, they mainly sing K-Pop music. BTS's main debut was during 2013 under the Big Hit Entertainment. Some of their most popular songs include Dynamite, Butter, Permission To Dance, and Boy With Luv.

Awards and Nominations

Before they split up, BTS won over 60 awards, and has been nominated for over 150. Some of their awards include the American Music Award for Artist of the Year, the Golden Disc Award Song Division, the Kid's Choice Award for Favorite Song, and a few Billboard Music Awards. They have been nominated for even more Billboard Awards, the MTV Europe Music Award, the People's Choice Award for favorite album, and a few APAN Music Awards. Overall, they have just won many awards, been nominated for even more, and even have made history for some.

BT21

Along with their music, BTS has also created stuffed plushies, 1 character for each member. This line is called BT21, and there is an interesting variety of animals. Each character was created in the fictional world called Universtar bt21. Some of my favorite characters are Tata, a little heart faced guy, Koya, a blue koala, and Cooky, a pink rabbit.

I personally do not really like BTS, but like I said, my friend is obsessed with their music. It just personally is not my style of music and irritates me after a while. That being said, they are an ok band as many people look up to them, and it is kind of sad that they will (so far) not come back together.
