Problem And Solution (Messy School Lunches)

 When lunchtime strikes, so does pollution. Lunchtime at school is when a lot of trash gets left behind. During lunch time, many students either are too lazy or don’t notice all the trash they leave behind. All the trash is really bad for the environment and harms the life around us. Sometimes winds can carry the trash the other places, polluting the wildlife around it. It is also possible that we have so much trash that the trashcans overflow and leave a huge mess near that area. One solution to messy lunchtimes is having certain areas for different groups/classes. This way, it is easier to tell who left the trash behind and catch them from littering more. Since most people are afraid to get into trouble, they will start picking up the trash they leave behind. Another solution is to put food into reusable containers. Reusable containers can be used over and over again, already protecting the environment a little. Since most reusable containers are heavier than most waste, it won’t fly away and spread to other areas. All in all, doing anything to prevent littering during lunchtime is a plus for the environment and our Earth.
