My thoughts about summer

My thoughts on Summertime are mostly the same as many people. I personally like Summertime for many reasons but my main reason would have to be swimming in refreshing pools and going to the beach with my family. During Summer it is also my birthday and I usually get to have a party since it is still on Summer break. Some other reasons I love Summer is because I get to go on vacations, I have the chance to relax, and because I am able to sleep in without being disturbed. Summer is also the hottest time of the year and I usually don’t like the heat which sometimes is a downgrade. Many people like Summer because there is no school but I disagree with them. Whenever there is no school, I tend to be bored and tired. School just keeps me awake and occupied.  Overall, I am pretty excited about Summer but I also have some things that I am not excited for. If I am going to be honest, I really do enjoy regular school days IN PERSON because I get to learn new things and have breaks with my frie

My 5th grade school year (Part 2)

Now that summer has officially begun, my school is off for a few monthssss. I have mixed feelings about this but I still am reflecting on how my different year went. There were many ups and downs during the third trimester but it was less stressful since school was getting closer to ending. We mostly covered character traits, continues figurative language, and learned some new vocabulary words. In social studies, we covered more on the 13 colonies and learned about all the acts and events that led up to the revolutionary war. We also learned about some important people and what they did. My 5th grade school year (Part 1)

As my school year is coming to an end, I am thinking through everything that happened this school year. So many things were different and at the beginning it felt strange and awkward. Thinking back to everything that happened this year, I’m still doubting if it was a good year or not. Of all the events that happened… It’s hard to decide. First Trimester The first trimester of my 5 th grade school year was probably the worst since we were still getting used to distance learning. This was also the trimester where my grades were the lowest and I was still confused on this whole distance learning format. The first day of school was probably the smoothest out of the whole trimester since we did not have to do work and we just got introduced to our teachers.   Since we didn’t have work, we weren’t asking questions all day and we just were kind of quiet and confused. This trimester, we did some fun things such as dress up days and also some drawings projects. Honestly, I don’t remem
