Mother’s day 2021

My mother’s day of 2021 has been fun, different, and of course loving. My sister and I made some gifts for her since she does so much for my family and I. My mom is very helpful and she helps my sister and I with so many things.

This year, my sister and I bought a big canvas and come paint so we could paint a picture for her. We ended up painting some flowers that we had painted in. The painting is on our wall since my sister and I worked really hard to finish it for our mom. This wasn’t the only gift we gave her though. I pained a few rocks for her since I wanted to make something personalized for her. 

Throughout the day, my sister and I tried to be as helpful as we could to let my mom have a day to be lazy. My sister and I also tried to not fight as much since we usually have arguments over very stupid subjects.

 

During dinner, we also bought food from one of my favorite dinner restaurants, Stonefire grill. We played some fun family games and it felt good being with my whole close family.

A short letter to my mom

Dear mom, thank you for helping and caring for me for over 10 years. I appreciate all the kindness, love, and joy you have spread to me and I wanted to thank you. Thank you for caring for me and Yanna, even if we do not behave. Thanks for being the best mom ever.

Overall, this year’s Mother’s day could have been better with no covid but we can’t do anything about it :(. Well I still enjoyed it and I hope my mom had a good day as well.
