How animals grow (School science unit)

Since the 3 rd Trimester in my school has started, we have been learning about how animals grow to figure out why some animal populations have been going down near the Cota Rica rainforest. To be honest, it was been a fun unit so far and I really like learning about animals. We learned that animals grow by eating food, getting sleep, and exercising/playing with other animals. First off, I need to say that everything (including air) is made of matter which is made up of molecules which are made up of atoms. When animals eat food, the molecules and atoms in the food go into their body. Once animals digest enough food, they grow a little bit at a time.   Exercising also helps an animal’s body grow because it helps them get stronger so they can become bigger stronger animals. When animals sleep, they get rest after a long day. It is really important when animals are growing so they can be as healthy as possible. Rest helps an animal “calm down” and get ready for a new day. All

Short figure skating essay

For the past few decades, Figure skating has grown and became one of the most beautiful sports out there. From the huge jumps to the majestic spins, figure skating has grown and thrived so much. According to the web, Figure skating has been a thing since 3000 BC. It started with a little ice pond into a huge Olympic sport but it took a long time to grow. The sport started when people used horse and cow bones to make skates and it turned into amazing high quality steel and leather skates. Not to mention all the amazing jumps and spins created. When ice skating first started, people just skated around not doing jumps or spins but that had started to change in some time. There are 6 single jumps and the axel being the hardest with 1 and a half rotations in the air. When people first did jumps, no one thought triples and quads were possible but people proved they were possible. Spins are another big part of skating. There are 3 basic spin positions but people have mad variations and co

My (very long) snow globe essay for school

For school, my classmates and I have had to write a essay on if we were trapped in a snow globe. We had to include dialogue and the characters talking and communicating with each other.   “Everyone ready to go?” My dad asks. “Yes!!” My sister adds”. And then we drove off to finally ready to go to the beach. “Yay!! Beachy here we come!” My annoying sister says. As we finally arrived at the beach I started to feel the hot fine sand and hear the waves crashing on rocks. “Wow!! Look at that dolphin” I say, finally feeling excited.  We find a nice spot to sit down and have lunch but suddenly something unusual happened.  “AHHHH!!!” My sister screams. I turned around to see what she was screaming about and I saw a strange looking woman with a picture brochure and a camera that appeared out of nowhere.  “Hey little ones!” She says.  “WHERE IN THE WORLD DID YOU COME FROM?!” I yell. “Not telling you but maybe you should be gone ru- never mind hehe” She starts “STOP” I scream.  But it was too lat
