2020 Halloween

This year’s Halloween did not go as I planned but I still got candy and had a fun time. Since everyone is still in lockdown we could not go trick-or-treating which is very sad : ( but my family and I still did some fun activities together which were really fun as well.

This year Halloween fell on a Saturday and my family had to go to my dad’s business and help out for about 8 hours. My sister and I were very bored so we played ROBLOX for a little. But on the way to the business we saw a police chase/pursuit in real life! It was kind of scary and very dangerous but it was like I was in a movie.

We got some candy and pie for Starter Bros next door and that’s when I had a good idea. We got a small piñata for the store and we were going to put the candy in it and hit it to make up for trick-or-treating this year. At home we also pretended to trick-or-treat by giving some candy to our dad and saying trick-or-treat to him.

Since we found out at last minute that we had to go and help out we had to cancel pumpkin carving with my friend since we had to stay there until pretty late and I was VERY mad.

Our mom had bought us a small item each for Halloween. She gave me a book and she gave my sister a lego.

Even though there were many bad things that happened today I still had an amazing time hitting the piñata and staying with my family. I am really looking forward to next year’s Halloween and I hope we can go trick or treating once again.
