The haunted house for sale (My school project)

In my language arts class we have recently started our first essay. We had to pretend to sell a haunted house and make up a whole setting. I tried to my haunted house like a magical mansion because we were trying not to tell the buyer that is not a haunted house. I also made up the city and the builder of the house.   Do you ever want to experience what it would be like to live in a unique and magical house? Well I have the perfect house for you. This 1400 Victorian mansion is one of a kind house. This 2 story mansion located in New Jersey and was built by famous architect, George Lord. This giant house has 10 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms all filled with magical floating furniture. It is overlooking a small pond and is located in a silent neighborhood in the city of Lily.    The outside of the mansion has a giant fence that keeps burglars and new people to the city out but don’t worry, if you put in the pass code it won’t hurt your family. You also have your own mini garden to gr

How my school is going so far

Since school has started I have learned many new things that I never thought I would learn in 5 th grade. I also did some fun activities online with my teachers and classmates. This year I have three teachers and have to switch Google meets every hour or so. My teachers are Mrs. Bomgaars for my homeroom and first period, Mrs. P for 2 nd period, and Mrs. Palmer for 3 rd period. Mrs. Bomgaars is our math teacher this year and maybe next year because she was a 6 th grade teacher before. At the beginning of the year we reviewed multiplication in the standard form multiplying 2 by 3 digits.   After we reviewed some skills we learned the order of operations. Once I understood the process it got easier and easier. After that lesson we learned how to say decimals correctly, divide decimals, and now we are working on rounding decimals. Mrs. P is our language arts teacher and she has been teaching the longest out of all the other teachers. She is a really good teacher and explains eve

Leap! Movie review part 4

I have watched an amazing movie recently called Leap! It is about a ballerina that goes after her dreams of dancing at a famous ballet studio is Paris. I think it tells you to never give up on your dreams because at the end the evil witch kind of learns her lesson. Félicie gets taken back to her orphanage and is very sad sp for the next few days she is quiet and does not talk to anyone but 1 night she has the dream from when her mother was still alive and saying she should never give up on her dreams. The next day she trains like she is in her class and her teacher is so amazed and impressed. That night he drives Félicie to the dance studio and Félicie sees her dance teacher/”mom” cleaning the stage. She then offers to help her clean and they both miss each other a lot. They then watch Camille practice her program and it does not go well. When they are done Camille and Félicie have a battle and that is when the song “Confident” by Demi lovato plays. At the end Félicie does and hug

Leap! Movie review part 3

I have recently watched an amazing movie called Leap! It is an inspirational movie that teaches you a lesson that will help you in your future. It is about a ballerina that has big dreams and tries to achieve them. The next day Camille joins the dance class and she is top notch and amazing at dance. More and more people get eliminated and at the end only Camille and Félicie remain. The next day they have to compete with the same dance moves and skills to see who will be chosen to dance in the nutcracker. That night a boy that also goes to the same dance studio takes her out to the Eiffel tower since the dance studio is in Paris. Her dance teacher/”mom” wants her to train for the audition tomorrow though. Félicie says she is not her mom and she wants to go so then she gets to go. When she arrives the boy takes her to the top of the tower and Félicie sees Victor there too. Félicie totally forgot that Victor wanted her to hang out with him. The two boys then start to fight and argue
