Leap! Movie review Part 2

Recently I watched an amazing movie called Leap! Even though it came out in 2017 I watched it in 2020 and loved it so much. The movie is about a girl that wants to become a ballerina at a dance studio in Paris but there are some challenges this girl has to get through. This is a part 2. On Félicie’s first day at the dance studio she first picks out her leotard and Pointe shoes. When she gets to her class she meets all the other girls and they tell her to warm up. Félicie does not mean what “warm up” means so she hugs herself like she is cold. Then when the teacher comes in Félicie is clueless and does not know a thing the teacher is talking about. He announces that tomorrow he will have auditions to dance Clara in the nutcracker. He explains each day one person will be eliminated from the class. That night Félicie’s like “mother” helps her train at 5 o’clock in the morning. She makes Félicie jump and ring a bell without splashing water when coming back down. Félicie tries and trie

Leap! Movie Review Part 1

On Saturday 9-19-20 I watched a movie called Leap! It is about a girl becoming a ballerina but she has to go through some hard challenges to become a ballerina. After I watched Leap I really enjoyed it and kept watching it that same day. Now it is one of my favorite movies. The main characters of the story are Félicie and Victor who have been growing up together in an orphanage located in France. The setting is in a Paris dance studio mostly. Victor shows Félicie a picture of a famous dance studio in Paris and Félicie wants to become a dancer at the studio. Victor on the other hand wants to become a famous inventor. Victor came up with a plan so both of them can escape the orphanage. They then get caught by one of the “teachers” and they have to try to get onto the train that takes them to Paris. When they arrive to Paris the next day they start to explore for a little but then Victor gets pushed by pigeons onto a boat. That leaves Félicie by herself trying to find the dance stu

All about the Tlingit Native American tribe

I had to do a school project on the Tlingit Native American tribe. I will be writing the exact same essay but I will be fixing a few things. I liked learning about their climate, main resources, and their food. The Tlingit tribe lived in what is now called Sitka, Alaska which had many mountains but the coastal Tlingit tribes lived on beaches and islands in the southeastern Alaska Panhandle . According to Indians.org the climate was humid but on the beach where coastal tribes lived had heavy rainfall. Since there was heavy rainfall for the coastal tribes it was more like Seattle according to nsew.org. The Tlingit’s main source of food was Salmon along with clams, shellfish, and berries. Their main recourse was trees and wood that they used to make their famous totem poles. They also used wood and cedar to make canoes or dugouts to travel around. They used cedar bark to make skirts, capes, and coats. They lived in cedar-plank houses that were made of red cedar trees and bark. Alm
