My Summer Math class

Starting from 6-29-20 through 7-10-20 I had a very fun math class. I really enjoyed learning things that I never learned before. I had very nice classmates and our teacher was also very nice. We also had a very fun last day of class and we did some very fun activities.

My teacher was Mr. Watkins and he is funny and planned very fun activities for our last few days of class.

When we first started class we did some simplifying fractions and we went on some apps and we did like a class quiz. We had to answer some questions to the best of our ability and there was a scoreboard and it said who answered the mot questions correctly.  

The next day we still did some simplifying fractions but we also did some adding decimals. I really liked adding decimals because it was pretty easy because all you need to do is add them but you have to make sure to line up the decimals.

For the last few days we learned about circles. I think that it is a pretty hard thing to learn but I understood it pretty well. We had to use a calculator and a ruler to find the radius of the circle.

We used 2 sites to do class competitions (I guess you can call it). We used Kahoot and Quizziz. Both sites are really fun and kind of like a fun learning game. The only difference is that for Kahoot you have to look at your teachers screen to see the question and the possible answers. Then you have to answer the question on your own screen. Quizziz is different because you just have to solve the question and you see it on your own screen.

In my opinion this class is a very fun class and I learned a lot of things and tricks that I never learned before. I also liked to meet new people that are nice. I really loved to take this math class and it was very fun.

Starting from Wednesday (The second Wednesday) we got to do some fun things in class. ON Wednesday we got to bring and show a stuffed animal to our class. I showed my stuffed dog that is named snowball. The next day we got to wear a sports shirt or jersey. The last day of activities was the most fun. We got to get our favorite snacks and drinks and we got to wear any type of glasses.
