My Amazing 2020 4th of July!!!!

Even though we are in quarantine our family still put out fireworks and had a very good time for 4th of July. I had an amazing time and saw some AMAZING fireworks this year! This has actually been the BEST 4th of July EVER because I got to do something I never have done before on 4th of July.

This year we got a lot of amazing fireworks. We got a big pack and we got 2 packs of Morning Glories (Sparklers). We also got many boxes of pop its. I got to put out fireworks with my friend Chloe this year and we had so many sparklers because she also got 2 packs. (We did wear masks)

When it was around 8:00 p.m., my sister and I started playing with the sparklers and the pop its. Then when it was 8:30 we started putting out some of the bigger fireworks. It was very fun because we got to throw some of the small fireworks onto the street. We also got to talk about what we are doing at home and our normal girl talk. We saw lots of BIG fireworks and even though they are illegal they were very pretty and nice.

My favorite firework that we put out was the last one and it was a square and it had a car on it for some reason. I like that one because it was one of the longest fireworks and it was very pretty.

After we put out all our fireworks we still wanted to see more so we went for a walk with both of our families. We stopped by our other friend's house and she wanted to go for a walk so we all went to a neighborhood walk and Ivy (The other friend) kept saying her ears were going to explode because of the very loud fireworks on her street.

When I was playing Roblox yesterday some of the games had some 4th of July updates and it was very pretty. There were also new 4th of July clothes to dress your avatar in Royale high (A game in Roblox).

As you can see that this 4th of July has been very fun and happy. I really liked to put out fireworks with my friend and I have actually never done that before so it was very fun and I think that we should do it every year because it was super fun and different. My only wish is that I could also do it with some of my other friends and that we would not have to wear masks because the mask really hurt my ears.

I did a interesting research about Michelle Kwan. Michelle Kwan was born 1980 in Torrance, California. Her ethic is Chinese and her parents were from Hong Kong. Chinese New Year

I am going to write about Chinese New Year because my parents come from China and Chinese new year is February 16th. Here are some facts I learned about Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is also called Lunar New Year. Chinese New Year was created to welcome spring but Chinese New Year does not happen on the same day every year because not all the time the groundhog sees his shadow. There are 12 symbols for the Chinese zodiac. The 12 symbols are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, rooster, Dog and Pig. The year of 2018 is the year of the Dog. I was born in 2010 and I am a Tiger and my sister was born in 2014 and she is a Horse. Chinese New Year is very important because we welcome a new symbol.
