Covid19 Stay At Home. Thursday, 07/16/20, Activities - Summer Marine Biology Class
Today we learned about jellyfish. We compared them to fish
and learned they are not fish at ALL. We learned that they do not have a spine
like fish do and that they are called JELLYfish because they have a layer of
skin and it kind of looks like jelly. But the fish part of their name does not
represent them at all. We also learned about some types of poisons like poison
Ivy. We learned that they are not really poisonous. They just have spikes and
when it touches your skin it hurts a LOT. Overall today was really fun and I
learned a lot of cool fun facts about jellyfish.
