Covid19 Stay At Home. Monday, 07/27/20, Activities - Summer Public Speaking Class

 

Today was the first day of my Public speaking class!! I think our teacher is really well organized because for each day she would create a slideshow for what we are learning. We started out by looking at our agenda and then we had a check in question where we have to answer a question about ourselves like what emoji describes you. Then we would do a tongue twister and later in the class we learned that tongue twisters help public speakers with their grammar (I think). After that we wrote a speech out ourselves saying our hobbies and fun facts about us. Then we would watch a public speaking fail and we would have to figure out why their speech was a fail. Lastly we would start a bigger speech and continue writing that until we are done, then we would share. So far I really enjoy this class and I learned a lot in just 1 day of class.
