Something About Oceans
Do you
like going to the ocean and playing in it? Please continue reading to
learn facts about it.
The
temperature of the ocean water is 17 degrees Celsius and 62.2 degrees Fahrenheit.
The 5 different types of oceans are Arctic ocean, Atlantic Ocean, Pacific Ocean,
Indian ocean, and Southern Ocean. The biggest ocean is the Pacific Ocean
then the Atlantic Ocean, then the Indian ocean, then the Southern Ocean, and
last one is the Arctic Ocean. According to my research, oceans cover up 71
percent of the Earth’s surface. Some sunken boats were the Titanic that sunk in
the Atlantic Ocean. The article said scientists believe that there are over one
million species of animals and plants living in the ocean. Some animals are
fish, sharks, dolphins, whales, turtles and a ton more. The plants that live in
the ocean are phytoplankton, diatoms seagrasses, algae, and kelp. Most animals
eat plankton and other things.
In my
opinion, my favorite is dolphins, because it can leap high in the air. My wish
is the ocean would not be so salty.
