My Favorite Books

For the past few months I fell in love with fairy chapter books.Read down below to see why I fell in love with them.
The author of fairy chapter books is Daisy Meadows.The title of some fairy chapter books are Gemma the gymnastics fairy,Michelle the winter and wonderland fairy,Ruby the red fairy,Amber the orange fairy,Sunny the yellow fairy,Fern the green fairy,sky the blue fairy,Heather the violet fairy ,and Inky the Indigo fairy (these are just some).In the story there is a bad guy named Jack Frost and he learns not steal the fairies magic objects but he doesn't learn his lesson.The series is about fairies .I like these books because they are girly and cool .My favorite fairy chapter book is all of them because they are girly and cool.
My favorite fairy chapter book is all of them (I can’t choose). The main characters are Jack Frost, Jack Frost’s gobilins, Rachel Kristy and a main fairy. The problem for the fairies is that Jack Frost causes trouble, and harm in fairy land and human world. The solution is the fairies, Rachel and Kirsty make a plan to get back each object. These are fiction books.

In my opinion, they are a good book series, good stories, good organization, and they are fun to read.
I wish they could be longer books, and have colored pages.

I did a interesting research about Michelle Kwan. Michelle Kwan was born 1980 in Torrance, California. Her ethic is Chinese and her parents were from Hong Kong. Michelle Kwan started skating at the age of 5 and went to Ice Castle Training Center in Lake Arrowhead in California. She was 18 years old when she went to the Olympics games. Michelle Kwan liked to skate a lot. I think Michelle Kwan has good performance because she is calm and relaxed. I think Kwan is a good ice skater because she made it all the way to the Olympics games. I think i am a good ice skater because i am in Basic 6. I would like to learn how to ice skate like Kwan. I learned some interesting facts about Michelle Kwan and I would like to accomplish something like her.

Chinese New Year

I am going to write about Chinese New Year because my parents come from China and Chinese new year is February 16th. Here are some facts I learned about Chinese New Year. Chinese New Year is also called Lunar New Year. Chinese New Year was created to welcome spring but Chinese New Year does not happen on the same day every year because not all the time the groundhog sees his shadow. There are 12 symbols for the Chinese zodiac. The 12 symbols are Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit, Dragon, Snake, Horse, Goat, Monkey, rooster, Dog and Pig. The year of 2018 is the year of the Dog. I was born in 2010 and I am a Tiger and my sister was born in 2014 and she is a Horse. Chinese New Year is very important because we welcome a new symbol. A Chinese New Year tradition is putting out fireworks and putting up lanterns. Chinese New Year lasts for about 15 days. This is what me and my family do on Chinese New Year this year.
