How Traffic lights change color

I did a fun research about how the traffic lights change colors.

The controls are fixed time control and Dynamic Control.

Fixed time control means both traffic lights get the same amount of time to go cross the road.

Dynamic control means if there are more cars on one side they get more time to go cross the road. The traffic light knows because there are detectors on the street.

There are 3 detectors in dynamic control.

In-pavement detectors mean there are detectors buried in or under the roadway.

Non-intrusive detectors mean cost effective are installed over the road way.

Non-motorized user detectors mean when you press the button there is a detector so it will show a white man that means to walk. If there is a red hand that means to stop.
