First Week of School - 2nd Grade

One the first week of school, i did a work sheet with a word search, questions like what is your name, what school do you go to, who is your teacher and what would you like to learn more this year 2017.

We also drew a picture of ourselves on the first day of school. Then we read a book that is called First Day Jitters. And it is about a girl named Sarah and her Father wakes her up for the first day of school and she covers her face with her blanket and her father says I will meet you in the kitchen in five minutes and she slowly gets out of bed and gets changes and brushes her teeth slowly and eats her breakfast and went to school. When she arrived, the principle got her out of the car and helped her in the school and said to the class this is your new teacher and it was Sarah.

I wanted to be in Miss. Ishida's class and I am actually in her class. We did math in our math books and we did sprints which are 30 math problems and your teacher times you for one minute and you do as many problems as you can. We wrote about BOLTS expectation which is also for success scholar. We also made a tree map and a cycle. I really had fun on my first week of school.
