My 22-23 7th Grade School Year Part 2

Leaving off of my last post, about my 7th grade school year, I would now like to mention all of the different memories, events, and activities that were held during the school year. Some of the most memorable memories and events I have made this school year with my friends and grade classmates would have to be walking to different stores nearby after school, 2022 Halloween, dress up spirit weeks, the 7th grade (winter) dance, group projects, band concerts and performances, friend birthdays, the APEX color battle, honestly, the fights, the field trip to the California Science Center, and field day.

My 22-23 7th Grade School Year Part 1

This passing Thursday, June 15th, I completed my first year of middle school! I am pretty proud of myself and the work that I have produced this year, and am so grateful to all of my teachers and staff that have helped support me adapt to middle school. That being said, I am also extremely excited for summer and what is has in stock the next few months. As this is middle school, the daily schedule is very different compared to elementary school. Each day, we go through all 6 classes/subjects. We have passing periods which determine tardies, and 6 different teachers. How To Survive History Class - My Toughest Experience This Year

Mr. P focuses on 21st century skills, writing techniques, and current events, all mixed in with the history content. It is very likely you will be behind other classes in terms of chapters and content but trust me, Mr. P knows what he is doing and you will still cover all the content. Besides reading in the textbook and doing comprehension checks, some of the other larger weighed assignments are the bimonthly current events (BCE's), essays (DBQ's), and o

My 2nd Band Performace/Concert

Recently, on the 31st of May, I along with the rest of my band performed in our second ever concert together. This concert was named "pops" concert, and all of the groups played lighter and more recognizable songs. I do feel that my band arrangement did better this time than the last concert (as expected), not only were we more comfortable with performing in front of crowds, but we were also more comfortable with each other having spent more time getting along and knowing each other.
