Titanic

Image
I did a fun research about how the Titanic Sunk. Before I did this research I borrowed a book from the library about the Titanic. The Titanic sank in North Atlantic Ocean a freezing cold place. The Titanic sank in early morning April 15 1912. The Titanic sank by a Captain looking out and saw a big iceberg and Titanic scratch the side of the huge iceberg. And crew members tried to get all the people on lifeboats before it sank. They let the girls or ladies get on first. 706 people and crew survived and 64 lifeboats were sent down. I really enjoyed this research and I hope you like learning about the Titanic.

Earthquakes

Image
I did a research about Earthquakes. First I did a research about why do earthquakes happen. Earthquakes happen by rocks moving and shaking underground and sends waves up to the ground and people will feel the ground shaking. If It happens under water and it will send waves to the water called tsunamis. After that I did a research about why are earthquakes dangerous. Earthquakes are very dangerous they can make buildings fall down and make lands slide. I really hope you like learning about earthquakes.

How Traffic lights change color

Image
I did a fun research about how the traffic lights change colors. The controls are fixed time control and Dynamic Control. Fixed time control means both traffic lights get the same amount of time to go cross the road. Dynamic control means if there are more cars on one side they get more time to go cross the road. The traffic light knows because there are detectors on the street. There are 3 detectors in dynamic control. In-pavement detectors mean there are detectors buried in or under the roadway. Non-intrusive detectors mean cost effective are installed over the road way. Non-motorized user detectors mean when you press the button there is a detector so it will show a white man that means to walk. If there is a red hand that means to stop. I hope you liked learning how the light turn red.

Why We Yarn and Why do our eyes water when we yarn ?

Image
I did a research about why we yarn and why do we have tears when we yarn. Do you know why? We yarn so we can get oxygen. We have tears when we yarn because when we yarn our skull pulls tight and there is something in our forehead that pushes the water to our eye. Every person has to yarn. Some people think some people don't yarn but everyone has to yarn 3 times a day or more times a day. I really liked learning why we yarn and why we have tears when we yarn so I have more knowledge.
