On Thursday we had a substitute teacher name Mrs. O because Mrs. Silva had to go to a meeting. When Mrs. O was here we did popcorn reading. First she chose one person to start off. Next you have to say popcorn and then say another person’s name. Last you start all over again. Next we did the line challenge. First you have to be quiet. Next we have to be in two colored lines. Last you have to walk with your hands behind your back. Last we went to the computer lab. First we logged in, next we go on Zurn.com. Last we do additions, subtractions and times table. In my opinion, Mrs. O is an excellent teacher because she teaches us a lot, she is nice to us and she is very smart. I hope you like having a substitute teacher when your regular teacher is not here.  

 Today is Mother’s day and me and my sister made beautiful projects for her. We made the projects at school and our mom really liked it. I made my mom a Mother’s day card and she said it was beautiful because she liked the front cover. She liked the picture on the inside and she liked my very neat handwriting. I also made mom a little glass vase with golden sparkles and a coffee filter flower and I drew a bunch of flowers and me watering it. My sister made a card for my mom. First she got a paper plate and her teacher cut it. Next she put her hand print on the card. Last she put cute stickers on it and she attached a string and tape with a card dangling on it. I really appreciate her for being my mom and I like when she buys me a lot of things for example clothes, toys and food. But the only thing I want her to improve is not getting mad and not screaming to any of us.  

Today I compared and contrasted two books. One is called Storms and the other is called Carlita Ropes the Twister.   These books are similar because they both are very dangers. The book Storms is different because it is non-fiction and it has weather waterless.  The book Carlita Ropes the Twister is different because it has a very strong girl and it is fiction. I think these books are great because they are both about storms.  I also compared and contrasted two more books. One is called The Crane Wife and the other is called Japan. These books are similar because they both talk about the Japanese culture. The book The Crane Wife is different because there is a crane who turns into a wife and it is fiction. The book Japan is different because it is non-fiction and they have testable. I think the two books are great because they are both about Japanese . In The Crane Wife, the lessen is always keep your promises. The characters are Sochy and Aaron. On Japan , there is also a b
